The Municipality intends to promote the touristic exploitation of the zone of Lamelas.
There are about 50 ha located near the junction of the A7, which are available to be negotiated for good conditions with a strategic partner with experience in tourism related areas.
The municipality also considers, depending on the quality of the investor's proposal, to offer other incentives with regard to accessibility, infrastructure and fees for licensing.
Intended are a hotel unit with 100 rooms, golf course and other facilities, the criteria for evaluating of proposals are the following:
- number of jobs to be created
- architectural quality of the buildings
- level of environmental quality and quality and dimension of the marketing and promotion plan of the unit on the tourism related market
- level of experience shown by promoter in the implementation of similar investment projects.
