IMF reviews higher growth for Portugal in 2007

The International Monetary Fund reviews an economic growth for the Portuguese economy, by an increase of the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) from 1,5% to 1,8% in 2007. The Spring Economic Forecast disseminated today estimates an increase of the national economy up to 2,1% in 2008.

According to Ernst & Young's «Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Indices», Portugal is in 8th position in the ranking of the countries which are most attractive for international investment in the renewable energy market.
