This is one of the conclusions revealed by the “Global Enabling Trade Report” published by the World Economic Forum which includes 118 countries. Considering the 27 EU member states Portugal ranks 7th.
Portugal is ahead of many of the EU 15 like the Netherlands, France, Italy and Spain, which is ranked on 33rd position.
The global index includes other issues like market access, border administration and transport and communications infrastructure. In the global ranking Portugal performed 26th within the included countries and 14th among EU countries.
